Your ReSource relies on the talents of volunteers, of all ages, to advance our programs and services and bring them into the community.  Individuals and groups are invited to volunteer their time, energy and skills for a special event, a weekly or monthly assignment.  Our volunteer coordinator will work with you to match an opportunity that fits your schedule and your interests.

Volunteer Opportunities

• Office Assistants (reception, data entry, mailings, MAC support)
• Help plan a ‘reuse’ fundraiser (creative recyclers needed to plan a fun event)
• Art enthusiasts needed to select and hang monthly art show from local co-op
• Oversee our unique drop-off &collection projects (Technotrash Can & Odd Shoes)

In the Community

• Speakers Bureau   (use your energy and ‘people skills’ in public speaking)
• Outreach & Marketing  (design brochures & flyers, network in the community)
• Distribute flyers and brochures   (keep fit while you meet your neighbors)
• Work with college students to implement Dump & Run, on a local campus

Education Team

• Create educational materials and displays;participate in waste prevention workshops and programs for all ages
• Got Flair? Take found objects and create works of art or alternative use projects.           

C.A.R.E. - Community Access to Rehabilitation Equipment

• Learn about the durable medical equipment program (help others through reuse).

• Help locate sources of available, gently used medical equipment. (healthy curiosity needed)
• Participate in donation pick-ups or delivery to recipients of donated equipment.
• Fix It technicians needed (mechanical and/or electrical background).
• Refurbishing helpers (roll up your sleeves & get items sparkling clean)
