Sun Bank Volunteers
Employees of Sun Bank visited Your ReSource on October 13th and volunteered their help with landscaping and recycling projects. Their volunteerism was part of "Banking On Our Communities Day" sponsored by Sun National Bank.
We are grateful for their keen efforts that gleaned valuable parts from no-longer-usable home medical equipment and transformed our garden from wilted vege vines to magnificent mums.
Thanks To David, Chris, Lauren, Melissa, Grace and Chantal !!!
ThankYou Mercer County Connection!
Your ReSource would like to thank Marcy Kleiner, Director of the Mercer County Connection Outreach Center, for sponsoring a "collection day" for no longer needed home medical equipment on Saturday, June 4. During the four hour event, 52 community residents donated 150 pieces of gently used medical equipment, such as wheelchairs, walkers, canes, shower and bath chairs, grab bars, crutches and lots more.
The collection donations totaled 1500 lbs. of valuable items redirected from needless disposal in the landfill.
Kudos to Marcy, her assistant Linda Schneck, and all the donors for demonstrating their strong commitment to sustainability while helping their neighbors.
